TASK: A Platform for Skill Development and Employability
TASK is an Android application developed by the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) to provide a platform for the government, academia, and industry to enhance the employability of youth in the state. The app offers various modules to enhance technology, personal, and organizational skills, access to e-learning content, and practice tests. It also provides guest lectures by corporates on various topics, English speaking courses, access to virtual labs for online experiments, entrepreneurship development, and opportunities to participate in placement drives across organizations. Additionally, TASK offers internships, participation in various competitions and fests, and faculty development programs for colleges.
TASK also provides value for corporates, as it offers a forum for industry and academia to connect. It provides access to a pool of trained graduates for internships and placements, the provision to customize courses/learning content for a specific technology/skill area prior to placement drives, and the opportunity to partner with colleges on various projects as part of CSR activities. TASK has partnered with global technology organizations like SAP, IBM, Cisco, Oracle, Samsung, ISB, Internshala, Autodesk and many more to provide a comprehensive skill development program.
